I think so. The bevel idea is what we have done.
Some guys will say flowers grow all year around outside of non perimeter insulated floor. Some say never noticed any difference.
I think you have the right idea.


I think you should save the covertec for shipping breakable objects and use foam with 25 - 30 psi rating under the floor.
Have the plumber explain "reflective value" when it is under concrete to a physics professor.
