Jesup, IA | Another thing to remember about the PF Tour is that they more or less have to rely on the USDA planted acreage numbers. With Prevented Planting, this could be important than usual in their estimate of the total 2013 harvest.
You are correct that they survey just the largest corn growing counties.
And I agree with the prior comment to compare the data to prior PF Tour findings. They do not try to "pin the tail on the USDA." | |
