Can one of you guys who have the bad beans from inside field take a pic for me? Just for comparison sake. I'd have thunk you guys would pod at same time as us up North.
Im curious as to how much different your season is this ours on beans. Just want to compare mine to yours.
We have our last cluster of pods starting on the top of the plant. Pods at bottom are full. This is about normal for us.
Ours look good from road and seem pretty good in field. My pod counts are higher than last year by a long shot i think but I'm not sure what yield will be from our cool stretch.
That being said 2009 was good bean year here.
Caught between .35-.75 wednesday night on ground that is not dry to start with. Suppose to be 95 tomorrow and windy.
I'm basically at a loss to figure out what makes or doesn't make good beans it seems.
