Need pods to raise beans... I know its August 16th and there is time(I think). The point is everyone I talk to around here is saying the same thing... very few pods and days are getting shorter and 50 degree night time temps and 70-75 during the day doesn't cut it. It looks like the bean thing is a Midwest thing and not "here" thing. But you are right in saying it is very hard to predict a bean yield at this stage of the game.
