Subject: Spring wheat yields

Formerly NE North Dakota, now NW MN
I'm starting to hear rumors and rumblings that the eastern ND spring wheat crop has some really really ugly spots. Wide variation in protein as well.

Anyone combining and finding less bu. than they did last year?

Still nothing started in this neck of the woods. It's taking forever to die. Valor has a 10 day PHI as a pre-harvest... I'm beginning to wonder if roundup can't get it done in 10 days if it's worth experimenting with.

Anyways, back to markets- I'm wondering if the U/Z spread narrowing is a reflection of some of this poor yield information trickling into the market, or if it's purely the delay in harvest.

While we're talking HRSW- Hey Canada.... whats your crop look like? (Kinda lookin at you Pitt)....You guys don't have nearly the question marks on area that ND has (is that correct?)
