Red River Valley | go back and read what was being posted about planting pace also I remember very well what was being said on sites in 2004 neither of those years will go down as early planting years --and they are two of the three highest ear weight years in the last 20/
In 1998 we had a high weight year and YES that was an early plant year.
but by no means was 2009 or 2004.
the most direct correlation to ear weights is temps in July and August nothing else is even close.
