I used to finish them out on Doughboy's Tender-R-Leen until I butchered one for myself... We couldn't stand the taste of the meat, more so the taste that was added to the meat from the fat as it had sort of a funny taste that absolutely sucked..
BTW, What about the break even point (or the point one can make some money) at finishing your own steers with the price of corn now days. (Mine are around #1200 + on pasture yet and look very close to being finished already)
