Subject: "wet country" cattle feeders

Rome, KS

How do you feeders that fight mud way more than you should, deal with it.  I background and start cattle for others.  I've had roughly 18" of rain in the last month and I'm about ready to go nuts.  10 days ago, I moved the cattle out of the pens into larger grass traps to get a decent place to lay down.  Since then it's rained 8" and I it's getting hard to get to the cattle with water standing everywhere.

I've dealt with mud before during the winter, just push it out of the way and go on.  But that doesn't do a lot of good when it rains every other day.

Just need a little pick me up after my venting.

Thanks,
