Texas/New Mexico Stateline | 65* dewpoint and a swamp cooler, I'd rather go without! That would just make you feel hotter. Mama in this house prefers the temp about 78 in the summer, a little warm for me, but we can agree to disagree and I get used to it. Refrigerated air is dryer, so it is decently comfortable.
I remember listening to Dave Ramsey on the radio a while back and somebody in Texas was calling in asking about increasing their "emergency fund" because their A/C was acting up. He said absolutely! No A/C in Texas in the summer is the definition of an emergency. |
