West Central Iowa | I was tested couple years ago and found that no antacid would help me because the flap going into the stomach was not working properly. I wore a device around my neck with a tube going down my nose into my stomach for 24 hours. Results showed the only way to stop it was with surgery so they wrapped the top of my stomach around my esophagus to form a new opening. It's called a Nissen Fundipication operation. No more heartburn. Glad I did it tho it took a while to recuperate. | |
