New Mexico
exported.

eu and uk econs are starting to shape up again.

THAT is going to put a bunch of UP in the hormone free cattle.

The naturals even though bringing an ok premium ( $15 to 20 cwt live over tradits ) the past 1.5 years, are going to be a LOT spunkier price from now on.

Basically the naturals took more market share from the usa tradits during the eu econ problems.

Aggregated currency levels indicate hormone frees could easily be $35 to 40 cwt premium over tradits by mid 014.

Traditional fat cattle and hogs have a problem:
Ractopamine is eating their lunch so to speak.

Smithfield is moving all their deal to achieve 50% of total harvest as racto free hogs by year end.

( nother deal where farmers spend $10 on an additive to make $20 while reducing whole market worth by $150 per head )

there's sure a lot of processors and even producers now who wish the racto deal would simply somehow "go away."

1 thing is sure: 162 countries now will not risk buying usa meats because of it ( racto residues ).
