I don't know if this is feasible for you or not, but I'd say try to buy some 350-450 pounders in the fall. Rough them through the winter on whatever you can get cheap(corn stalks ddg?) then turn those guys out in the spring when grass comes on. Run them all summer until grass gets poor in August. Also if there's any way possible try to have a semi load available to sell that will open up a lot more marketing options for you.
