field cultivator shank breakage?

Near-north Ontario, French River
We go through about 10 shanks a year., on 400 acres of worked corn ground. Over the years have tried many different brands, and beleive me they will all break if you have stones. ( I mean stones, not the gravel that some of you guys call stones lol) Almost always break when the shank hits a stone and tries to go 'around' the stone instead of bending "back" and over the stone.
