Here are a few pictures of mine.  Since we plant year around there is usually a variety of little stuff and big stuff.  We irrigate with tape and I use an individual valve for each row.  I use the four inch spacing which really wets out a row fast and consistent.  A surprising number of the Loatian commercial growers use it.  It runs a lot of water, but on a small area it isn't too bad.
