Athens, TX | A neighbor has a field of Brown Top Millet that is 8 to 30 inches tall that he wants to sell. He is proposing to bale it and haul on big truck 25 bales / load and I would use an in-line wrapper to wrap at my place. I have put up cool season annuals in baleage but not warm season annual. I am wanting to feed this to calves at weaning and to supplement winter pasture (small grain / ryegrass / clover). Is this good feed? How much is it worth per bale (4x5 rounds)? | |
