North shore of Lake Ontario | you'll save it all if you bag it. Piling takes a lot of work packing and with 4 edges you will have more spoilage. Of course piling and covering it will work. A farmer in our area used to pile his alfalfa in what I would call mounds. He would pack it from all 4 sides until it was about 10 or 12 feet high in the middle and just the right size for one piece of plastic sheeting. Worked pretty well and he only rolled one tractor so be careful! |
