That is a very good point. What good record keeping does is that it tells you where you need to go stand. Good record keeping gives you cold hard facts to make decisions with. It tells you what questions you need to be asking. Record keeping is a management tool. You have to take it from there. You can either use the information is gives you or you can ignore it. It all depends upon your management skills. I agree with Loren. In setting up any kind of record keeping system, I would want the ability to add spatial data later with out losing the benefit of the data I had already collected. |
