We really like our smooth tops. They are both GE...a black one at home and a white glass smooth top at a vacation place. Surprisingly, the white one is easier to keep clean. Black is more prone to show streaks. There is a great cleaner we use called Cerama Bryte. Hear that Wiemans is good too.
