How long it takes to ferment & it's ready for feeding, that I don't know. Here for my beef cattle, I'm usually chopping forage crops & cereals in July/August & open up the piles in December/January. It doesn't take that long, that's just the way it works out here.
So I'm going to chop some haylage- First Timer
