Sandy Hook, MB

Hello Mr.agco

Aim for 65% for pile or bunker. Chop short, 1/2" theoretical length, packs better short than long. Pack while filling. Do not pack next day. Doing so will result in some spoilage, similar to the layer of spoilage when adding to a pile the next day. The silage will have started to ferment & by driving over it the next day you will be introducing oxygen into the top layer. Cover & seal & you will end up with some real good feed. Cereals for energy & peas for protein.

Reason for edit: Spelling.
