Wheatley, Arkansas | It is hard to stay ahead of the markets. I have neighbors that locked in 4.50 wheat for the 07,08,09 crops thinking they had hit a home run, Now they are wondering if they can even cover cost of production. The markets respect no one, and no one knows for certain where it is headed. I as a farmer hope that the marketing decisions I make are at least good enough to keep me in business.
