Most recruiters have numbers to make just make sure she picks the job or mos she wants and has it before the contract is signed most will push for open contract like I almost had till I got wise to his game. Was a 6114 helicopter mechanic in the marines for five years and in hindsight it was a lot of fun even though some days it did not feel like it.
my daughter was almost sucked in by the air force recruiter. she scored very high on the asvab test, and he said she could pick any mos she wanted. then when pressed, admitted that was only if they had an opening in what you selected. if no opening they could put you anywhere they needed someone.
something very similar happened to me so i pressed him to get the straight answer. the guy was so smooth that daughter could not believe he would mislead her like that.
