I have a few questions. How big is the brush? What kind of brush are we talking about? When are you going to turn in? Or have you already got cows on it?
As far as the fence is concerned I would probably do a 5 barb fence, even if I had to go out of pocket for the extra two strands, but that's just personal prefference.
