I think cc's are far safer on the net than in real life, generally speaking.....at least from my experience. I Have one I 've used on the net for years and years and I've had same card/number for 17 years now, never been taken, got a new card for different transactions, all 'in person' transactions. THat number got stolen within a year. I'm pretty sure which vendor compromised my card, too.......
It was no big deal, it was caught pretty quick by the cc company. | |
