MN | Facing bifocals for the first time and of course the choices are numerous for the different kinds, coatings, etc. The place I always get glasses has a new kind of no-line progressive with a wider area of progressive vision (for lack of better word) or the regular no-line progressives with a little narrower field of view. I do a lot of reading, a lot of computer work (work on a computer all day) and a lot of driving back and forth to work so wondering if the extra $200 price tag for the new kind is worth it (also comes with the anti-glare or reflective coating). Is the anti-reflective/anti-glare worth the xtra cost? Will the wider progressive bifocal be worth it? I already know that I want the Transitions for outside darkening. Debating semi-rimless or rimmed also (had a pair of semi-rimless and lens chipped in less than 2 months). Any comments appreciated! Mrs. Geargrinder | |
