New Mexico
1st quarter as comped to 2012.
13% increase in volume moved.
16% increase in value moved ( 58% more than the 5 year average...foriegn consumers buy the bulk of the high end middle meats produced ).

Demand Function for Beef which is simply volume sold X price, has never been higher.
Beef production is up 3.5% from same frame 2012.
491 million lbs this week, 475 million 012.

The current comprehensive cut out indicates 16% of the loads as exported.
The previous week indicates 13% of the loads exported.
The average cc loads exported in 2012 was just under 12%.

Keep in mind part loads, or mixed cut loads are not reported as exports, thus not part of the afore totals.
( A lot of beef exported is non reported )

Non fed harvest is record high the 1st quarter, been running 13.8% over both 2012 and 2011 also.
