Alberta Canada | Usually everything gets a good wash before the season and after the season if theres time before its stored for the winter etc. Usually dont get caught in the rain with the combine or baler etc. Those seem to look the worst with dust and little sun shower. Tractors get washed a couple times a year. Find a leaf blower works great inbetween washes, usually when checking oil and air filters spend 2mins or less and blow the dust off the equipment with the blower. One thing I do notice is if the windows are spotless it makes the equipment look a touch cleaner, unless you have mud caked on everywhere.
When cleaning before the season I have a hot pressure washer and scrub brush, everything gets washed and scrubbed. Then gets a hot wax run through the washer. Have hand waxed tractors before but didnt seem to be much after running in the field a few days. The combine side panels get a quick hand wax if theres time, dust seems to not stick as easy. | |
