White Cross, NC | I have burn down a few acres of my soybean ground that had a rye cover crop on half the field and weeds on the other half. I have been running 22oz of round up power max 15gal per acre. Been running at 4 mph with a Hypro ultra low 12002 size tip. My problem is that after a week and a half the rye is dead but the weeds and grass down under it is not and also the half the field that's just weeds is still green and healthy. Do I need at least a 003 size tip and increase to 20 gal per acre. To get a better coverage and Get get a better kill and increase to 32 oz of round up. I can't run over 5 mph with my 60ft 3pt sprayer | |
