NW Washington | I for one am not a big fan of Weetabix cereal which I am pretty sure is made in Canada and maybe the US. It quickly turns to mush when every I have had it. Check this Wiki, it says Weetabix was invented in Australia.

But, that said, there are many varieties and types of wheat grown in the world and they are often used for making specific products. Hard wheat, soft wheat, red and white wheat and durum are just a few of the major types.
