Look into a water based stain for your floors. Acid stain colors vary greatly depending on the porosity of the concrete, we have found water based stains to be the most consistent by far.
What are they quoting for a polished floor? We are doing a 6000 sf 6" thick burnished floor for about $5.00 a sf.
