Kingston,Mi
Our Lions club helped to sponsor training for the parents and a caregiver for an autistic boy who recieved service dog to help him with his autism. My point would be if the child had a dedicated service dog that went every where with the child, it could be outfitted with tracking devices such as hunters use to folllow their dogs and it would be more "politically corrrect". The other benefit would be the training that the dog recieves to provide assistance.

Edit: did some searching and found several organizations that train service dogs for autism assistance. This particular group has recieved support from Michigan Lions for many years (just as an example) Http://www.pawswithacause.org
