A deck boat is also an option. They have fiberglass hulls and may have the pontoon type platform. Mine is more of the shape of a regular boat but with lounge seating. Think we have had 10 people on it. Its one of the smaller ones out there at 19'. It has a 250 hp outboard that can get it going around 50 mph. We really like it and can wip 6 kids on 2 tubes pretty good. Mine is a Hurricane Sun Deck.
