Strathcona, mn | I don't think it helps yield but sure speeds up harvest. No more dirt and rocks into the combine. Rolling is fast. I built a 55' roller last year and at 10mph it goes fast. I prefer to roll before the planter if possible but sometimes we end up rolling after the planter if labor is short. On a dry year we chase the cultivator to seal in moisture.
