sw wisconsin | Over the years we've been lowering pop,used to be 160,000 on thiry inch rows but now 120,000 and I always do test strips at lower yet. Last year I saw no yield difference between 120,000 and 85,000 however the stalk was bigger on the lower pop. That said still planning on 120,000 but will continue to experment. Also I should add that my test strips are at home farm and get lots of dairy, steer manure. | |
