In this case the producer WILL be able to add that land to his/her policy. The yield that will be on that farm will be the higher of the simple average of the yields on his/her existing units or 100% of the county T-Yield if the total land added is less than 640 acres. If a producer adds more than 640 acres, then the producer has to do a written agreement in order to use the simple average of the existing ground in the county. Without the written agreement the producer will only get 100% of the county T-Yield. If a producer picks up 2000 acres or more then he/she is only eligible for 100% of the county T-yield on that new ground.

As for the national and primary, they more have to do with adding ground in another county that is currently NOT listed on your policy. IMHO always select the added counties box and choose N for national.
