Subject: Why does EZ-Steer Drift Off Line?

NE CO
In general, I have been very happy with my EZ-Steer. I have used it on my pickup mounted sprayer and 4Wheel drive tractor on an airseeder and MX200 on a planter. However, I note that it drifts offline with fair regularity. Specifically, it will follow the course, then just start drifting offline by a foot or two before correcting. I have tried different aggressiveness, freeplay and turn/angle settings and all seem to make no difference. Today I was spraying in the pickup mounted sprayer and noted the same behavior. It seemed to be worse on side hills when it would drift down the hill several feet before it would begin to correct, and then would remain several feet offline. I changed the motor steering from auto-hi to max (or something like that) with no effect again. Do others experience the same problems, or am I missing something here? And what does the motor setting really do?

Thanks,
John
