WY, OK | You are going to get majority brockle out of the angus and majority straight Hereford looking out of the herf bull. The brockle calves will do far better, the 3/4 herf. will be too much herf in them as said above they'll have white on the shoulders, ears and even chest. They'll look like a pure bred herf. A lot of the "solid" calves will have a few white spots on their heads. If all you want is white on the face Herf will do it but I am not a fan of those 3/4's, they wean a good 50 lbs under what the 3/4 solids will and make poor heifers compared to the 3/4 solids. Neither will be as good as their 50/50 mothers. | |
