Jon Hagen - 3/15/2013 19:32 as long as I keep the drill cool and well lubricated with plenty of "Mistic Metal Mover"

I was drilling some 1/4" thick angle iron one day and didn't have any cutting oil. After a few holes, I knew the bit was getting hot and dull. I had a can of WD-40 handy and sprayed some in the hole as I was drilling, and was shocked at how much better it started cutting through the hole. I used it for the rest of the holes I had to drill and it drilled every one like it was a new bit.
