At those Iowa price 157 bu (85%) last year you would have collect $285 more per acre for spending $9.87/acre more. I would do that every day. Had neighbor who farms 4000+ not take fall option price last year. How happy do you think he is with his agent.
He should be pissed at himself. Why would an insurance salesman run his business for him?
