| the legacy companies of syngenta invented modern farming. insectide 24d atrazine. roswell garst started the farmer dealer system. in 1926 at same time as henry wallace started pioneer. garst and pioneer split in 1985. the seed plant in coon rapids was the largest in the world at one time. and probly still is. but is old. Dave Garst hired my dad as a dealer in 1960. we grew seed for over 50 years as well. yes i am a garst guy through and through. but times change we can't stop it. syngenta will over take monsanto and dupont in the long run. better science and a long look ahead. 250 years of history behind syngenta. and a lot of money. I feel bad for my friends in coon rapids. | |
