Wouldn't it be be beneficial, easier, and best to run a double rate of vault liquid on seed than use any peat? The rhizobia count of liquid is far superior to the level in peat and I question the application of peat based products. I know it is not exact science but somewhat difficult to get a good blend and not have it settle out. Plus I would use a polymer which acts like a clear coat that actually improves rhizobia survival rate.
