Maybe I'm wrong but I treat micros the same as other "macro fertilizer" in that a # is a # no matter what form it's in. Therefore I don't use the chelated micros and instead use a quart of ammionated 20% liquid zinc with 10-34-0. A quart gets me 0.55# of actual zinc and costs about $3.75 per acre.
