I doubt there is much water being released from the Missouri river dams. It is dry with very little snow cover in the Missouri basin. The exception would be the James river (The Jim river in SD) basin that enters the Missouri in SE SD. The James basin has 1'-2'+ of snow cover, but it is a small part of the Missouri system.
