Lat year may have be an anomoly being so dry and all-but I spread them right behind combine-they didn't get big enough to do what I wanted before frost got em. I didn't see anything for 3 weeks. Was 6 weeks before they had any size that would even hit sickle.
This year I am putting them on much earlier-with plane.
