Anderson County Kansas | My planting plan is to plant the shortest season corn on whatever field dries out first then on to the next driest until we are done. If they are all dry enough we plant the shortest season first and start at one end of the farm and move field by field until we are at the last field at the other end of the farm and done. I prefer the last way, its not nearly as much running around at planting or at harvest, but very seldom is the whole farm dry enough at the same time to allow that. I don't try to plan one hybrid for one field or another, as our fields aren't that much different overall.
