EC IL | Well Monsanto claimed for years that resistance would never happen in every meeting and talk you heard from them for years. So yes part of it is there fault. Back in the day they would only mention in passing and joke it off that in the tropical countries that roundup was having issues. But would also claim the dumb farmers were using cut rates and generics and they had 11-12 month growing seasons. Now on to weed control, we have had the same chemistries available for 30 years nothing new coming down the road for at least 5-7 from anyone from what I hear all winter. Corn is not much of a issue with atrazine Callisto banvel acetachlor and the like. Soybeans is tougher with only ppo chemistry, liberty available | |
