Maybe I'm out of the loop here, but I seem to recall we were required ('m sure it's in the fine print) to provide the acreage maps to the elevator where we bought RR canola seed; with those maps they don't NEED you to drive them around. There would also be a great number of fields beside a road or section line; believe the right of way is 36' each way from center of road, suppose ANYBODY (not just Monsanto cops) could quickly spray a small spot with spray bottle of 2-4D and the story would be told.
Not sticking up for Monsanto but something tells me they have a legal right to check you anytime-any place. Probably like looking at the back side of a bank note--they gotcha by the short hairs
