Even Spacing shoouldnt be your main concern even emergence should. plant pollination and even ear size correlates to an even stand. you can achieve this with good plant depth and slowing down. I do contract research and when i run analysis on plant stand i look at seeds planted to full ears at harvest that should tell you what your planting report card is.
