I went from a White 6100 that space's great, to a IH 900 HRF that doesn't space as well. Went to the IH because of it's narrow width and I could afford it. Have only one year with the 900, but am happy with it's spacing so far. I've read alot lately about this subject, and I think you want spacing to be good, but I keep reading that haveing all corn come up at same time trumps prefect spaceing. So I'll see how this year goes. I did have rain on some of my ground 25 miles from home that did yield almost the best it ever has. So the old 900 did well. I think if you spaceing decent, weather has way more to say about what your yield will be. Just my throught's.
