Subject: stanadyne injection pump / JD 4010

Eastern Iowa
I have a 4010 deisel with a Stanadyne injection pump, it looks alot like a roosa master. I can't get fuel to go to the injectors, The supply pump with the hand primmer lever works good, I can get fuel to bypass back to the fuel tank but nothing to the injectors. I took the small 1/2 x 1 inch timing cover off the side of the pump and it's not turning. somthing must be broke inside, any idea what? Is there a chance I could fix it myself, Is it gonna cost alot to have the pump shop fix it? How much money do these pumps usually go for in a salvage yard? Can a Stanadyne be swaped for a Roosa Master with out much trouble?
